The purpose of this website is to provide information and opportunities to get involved with the work which has now started on quality standards for care services.

This will initially be developed and then piloted across the North East region during the period between November ‘09 and June ‘10.

The aim of the project is to enable care services across the region to work towards better outcomes for service users as the way of measuring the quality of services.

This means understanding the views of people who use care services, carers and their families as well as consulting with the professionals involved.
